cleaning inventory - lurker - 11-21-2014
I went to a cleaning job. there was a crew with me - 2 men and a woman. 1 man was young, about 17ish. when we got there we pulled up to the building and immediately I noticed everything was still there. I said "im not cleaning all this stuff. this is not what I do" the others in the crew seemed to have more info about the job than I did. we got inside and it was like a store. maybe an antique dealer or auction house. there were people shopping. the aisles of the store had water on either side like the store itself was a floating island. it felt like it was outdoors. my crew had pieces of paper and were writing down upc codes. like they were taking inventory. I was trying to clean but shoppers were in the way. "I cant clean like this!" I asked the crew what they were doing, why are they taking inventory. we are supposed to be cleaning, that's what we do.
