Poetry - Lover on the Wind
Lover on the Wind
She’s coming home to me, She’s rustling through the trees. I hear her whisper my name, I feel her Flickering in my Flame. She dances with angels in the Sky, She brings forth waves with the blink of an eye. She carries the howls through out the night, She carries the stars, as they burn so bright. She brings the Dreams of flight, Within a child’s mind night after night. She carries the light of the moon, She carries the lullaby the sweet soft tune. She brings a hint of rose peddles sachet, The scent I wish would forever stay. She brings me chastity and desolation, upon a cool summer night. She eases my Frustration and Anger, And shows me a brighter light. She is my Love, the only one I feel caressing my skin, as she dresses me in her soft white linen. I wish she’d never blow away, To this Lover on the wind I say. Please be my solitude in the night, And don’t stray to far away.
