A very clear and vivid dream of riding a bicycle down a road with my brother, when a couple of fore shocks have us thinking the bikes are malfunctioning. We become aware that a major quake is taking place when we are thrown to the crumbling pavement and begin diving out from under falling power lines and poles which are writhing and crackling like pissed off serpents. (The lines, not the poles)
