I had been thinking about the Hopi Blue Star Prophecy when I had this dream. I'm watching two ships which look like Federation ships from Star Trek (symbolic for type I civilization?). There's a giant orb floating above Earth. They're both approaching the orb from the dark side which is facing away from the sun. On the darkened side there's a cylindrical tube in the sphere which leads to it's core. One of the ships flyes down through the tube and into the sphere. Once inside the sphere's core, the ship somehow causes a reaction which initiates a large explosion of blue energy.
