This may just be power of suggestion as I was listening to a radio show about Wormwood, Cherynoble, and Fukushima, but...
In the dream it was early evening, still light but darkening. Comet Ison was visible to the east, which I think means it had passed our orbit. As I was driving I was glancing up at the comet frequently, feeling a need to watch it. Suddenly it flashed a bright purple, pink color and then increased in brightness by 100X or more. It returned to it's bright greenish blue color but maintained it's brightness. It also blossomed in size to more than 10X it's visible size, and to me resembled a fuzzy sparkler. It stayed bright as day around me as I drove. After that the dream disolved into nonsense. The elapsed time in the dream was probably no more than 5 minutes or so as it takes me less than that amount of time to traverse the valley I was driving through.
