My mother and her fiance were staying with us and she didn't know how to use my toaster oven. I explained to her before we went to bed how it worked, but was not convinced that she got it.
I tried to sleep, but was quite fitful and when I did sleep I had a dream that my mom had set my curtains on fire by having the toaster oven cranked to full heat.
When I got up that moringing my mom was down in the kitchen attempting to get breakfast ready. Just like in my dream she had the toaster oven cranked as high as is would go and it was over heating. I managed to turn it off before any damage could happen. This is the only instance so far, where I have ever been able to avert a possible tragedy that I saw in a dream.
