Was outside on a rainy night on my way to visit the White House and Bill Clinton. Wasn't excited by the journey because it was a party and I am not the kind of person that really likes a White House party. The White House was more like a good sized Connecticut home: large, suburban, nice rooms but nothing over-the-top. Bill Clinton, when we finally found him, not partying, was crying. He was very sad because his press secretary was very upset with him. I spent my time with him convincing him he needed to talk with her and apologize, that it would get better. Don't know if he ever did.
