I was in a half-awake / half-dreaming state, and had the sensation of a long soft scarf being wrapped around my neck and being tightened. When I looked to see who was doing this to me, no one was there. This occurred several times in a row, although the scarf had a different look each time. I remember thinking it was not a human doing this to me, but some other type of entity.
