Two weeks ago, I had this dream mostly come true. In my dream, I was pulling the tail of a snake out of a whole in the ground, in which it was stuck. When I got the head out, it turned to bite me, and I awoke. I remember feeling that when I see this, it is the sign that it is beginning of something. The next day, to my shock, I was pulling a king snake by the tail (something I've NEVER done or thought of doing before) out of a hole it was stuck in, because I was afraid it would kill my chickens if left alone. (I couldn't get it out, so it didn't try to bite me, but next morning it was gone.)
Granted, your snake wasn't eating its tail butI saw the title of your dream and thought of Ourobouros: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouroboros

Quote:I remember feeling that when I see this, it is the sign that it is beginning of something.

From the Wiki entry:
Quote:The ouroboros often symbolizes self-reflexivity or cyclicality,[3] especially in the sense of something constantly re-creating itself, the eternal return, and other things such as the phoenix which operate in cycles that begin anew as soon as they end.

Death, rebirth. The end of something, the beginning of something. Are you experiencing a shift in your life? Changes?
Seems like your dream got you ready for a waking life moment. Glad to hear you were not bitten.
