I was out of town on business, staying in a hotel. I had to go on a short trip to Chicago so I packed an overnight bag and headed to the airport. I passed through security and proceeded to the gate. Then we were told the Chicago airport was closed due to a threat to the President. So I returned to the hotel.
My sense was the President was in Chicago when the threat surfaced. No one seemed particularly upset or alarmed at the airport or at the hotel.
