Rioting in the Streets - Frank - 05-23-2010
Dream begins as I am walking down a Washington street and begin to get a sense that there is a lot of commotion around the corner. As I turn the corner there are several people running, trotting, walking quickly down a wide street in one direction. Without getting a clear picture of what it is all about I follow seeking to understand what is going on. The crown gets pretty dense and I begin to hear yelling and everyone has their arms raised with clenched fists. Many things are being yelled with the same sentiments "No More!" "Get out!" "Throw them out!" "This is our country!" At this point it is obvious that we are headed towards main government building to literally toss them out of their offices. The general feeling of being swept up and into the hysteria is exciting and the sense of taking back something that is mine/ours is overwhelming. Then I wake up.
In waking life I have no intention of being on the front lines of the pitchforks and torches crowd. At least now I will know what in could have been like for me.
