Class Dismissed - More than Six of Us, less than Nine - Pesqueira - 08-20-2010 Class Dismissed - More than Six of Us, less than Nine Class was brought to attention by the Instructor We were told we would be receiving a final grade after this course The course would be the History of Mathematics There would be two test given before grades were presented A final examine for the course and a comprehensive exam Everyone sighed a gasp of exasperation The final examine went well for everyone The Instructor informed us that everyone had passed the final exam Everyone had earned an A+ grade average There would be no need to take a comprehensive exam Everyone gasped a sigh of relief We were instructed to line up and receive our test papers I lined up second from the last; a brunette lady was behind me I reached out to receive my congratulations and test paper The Instructor offered me this with a smile You will be able to overcome anything that will impede you After receiving our papers, the instructor said there would be a comprehensive test It was only a single question and no grade would be attached We would be able to refer to our notes The question was Who was the greatest Mathematician and when was he born? I knew I had the answer in my volume of notes I was able to find the answer prior to the others It was someone named (not Rene) Descartes born July 4 th (year cannot be recollected) After the above dream I found myself in the back seat of a car Driving and seating in the front seat were two men The man in the front passenger seat meant me harm He was both stronger and physically more adept than I I found myself calm I knew the manner that I would use to render him immobile |
