I found myself in another place but very similar to here and familiar. I was confused and searching. I came across a gumpy older man who was my professor. He was working on an experiment, one I had been working on with him and now I felt lost, too big a gulf had occurred for me to participate now. He gruffly asked me what I wanted and I told him I needed answers. He waved me away and told me I had made my choice. I ran away and found a woman who had also been my professor. She was smiling in surprise. I asked her what was going on, why can't I remember anything. She laughed softly and told me it was because I had chosen to leave them. What do you mean? Where did I go? She laughed, you chose to be born!
