Tidal Wave - Stay Calm - Backenstein - 10-04-2010
Standing on an ocean-viewing platform, maybe +2' ASL and a 4' tidal wave breaks over the platform from one direction w/ a bridge (like San Francisco.) Then, another, bigger wave, maybe 16' ASL crest came from the other direction, as I coached the people there they could survive. Something like: "Jump in and swim away from the rocks (rip-rap). Hold your breath. Dive under it and come up towards the light. If it is too dark, come up w/ the bubbles. You must relax and come up slowly; surfers do this all the time...."
