Something new for the blue - Rae22 - 09-15-2014
I've been frustrated lately with disjointed dreaming and poor recall. I'm hoping to remedy that over the next few "free-form" dreaming nights.
Last night there was a lot of "dream bytes" to pull from and by the time I woke enough to write things ot I'd lost most of them, but for what it's worth here is what is left and one bit I find *very* important.
I need to drop something off at someone's house after work. I have a very hard time parking, it just won't work out right. Everything is white with fresh snow but it isn't cold feeling. It's slippery. I nearly slide off the road into a ditch when trying to get off the road far enough to park. I wanted to park in front of the driveway and am trying to back up again to get to the drive but there is a big white delivery truch in the way now. I find myself down in a little dip off the road, my wheels seem to be gone, my truck is stuck there so I'm walking back up to the house to feed my friend's sheep.
On the way up the hill the scene falls away and I become the observer. There is a baby... newborn but with lucid, wise eyes, he isn't looking at me but is entirely focused on something within his hands. He opens his hands to reveal a blue ball... the ball is blue and white swirls, rotating and swirling the colors, I know it is the earth. "Big blue marble".
