Tanks Attacking Castle/Mansion - Dreamcat - 02-23-2025
Last night I had a dream where I was basically a fly-on-the-wall observer, like a movie. It takes place in what is a very wealthy person's home, either a huge mansion or castle. It started off with a view of a very large living room that had soft light mustard coloured walls, fancy old furniture like you see in castles, and there were 3 or 4 men and women in the room, talking calmly. They were all well dressed, but in the kind of timeless clothing that very wealthy people wear so I can't be sure exactly when this is taking place, just that it is more modern than say a hundred years ago. It was bright in the room so likely late morning or early afternoon.
Next I'm looking at a smaller room with light green walls. There are big windows in one wall overlooking a huge garden - the grass and leaves on the trees are a lighter green so I'm thinking this is early summer, June perhaps. There's a young woman in her early 20s sitting on either a day bed or a wide couch, and she's watching a cute little girl. The girl has blonde curly hair to her shoulders, and she wearing a crinoline flowery dress. She is walking but just barely and has those plump baby legs so I think she would be about 18 months-2 years old. It's a pleasant scene.
Next I'm looking at a driveway that is coming up over a slight hill towards the building. The windows are facing the garden so you can't see the driveway. A tank comes up over the horizon, its gun moving back and forth which I find terrifying to see. It is fairly quiet and a more modern tank so this is later than WWII era. It reminds me of the tanks that are in photos of Ukraine. The tank comes up the driveway then smashes through a wall, which happens to be the room the two girls are in. I see the walls and the ceiling fall down immediately. The tank simply continues on over the rubble, and I know that the two girls have to be dead underneath all of that. This is where I wake up.
My sense of the location is Europe, maybe England, Italy, Germany, France though the people are quite fair skinned and blonde so I think it's more like Britain or northern Europe.
I'm not sure if this nightmare was a warning or anxiety because I've had dreams since I was very young about tanks (the only explanation I have of that is I possibly died in WWII in a previous life).
