I asked Chris to do a Bot run for the dates December 30 thru January 3, 2015. This is aside from the 2015 Project Año Headlines that were produced. I asked for this because I have the belief that the dreams that people have around the turning of the year are highly predictive and as I read through the 11 dreams submitted to the NDC DreamBase for that time period, I sensed that perhaps these dreams along with all the others out there might lend support for the 2015 Project Año Headlines, as well. This is an experiment only and so far, there are three four instances where, in backward looking, the Bot words have played into recent events.

My favorite is planetary republic. I think most would see this as a negative, but republic is what the US used to be before it bastardized into a corporate "Democracy." A planetary republic would be a very small governmental presence, and the people basically running themselves in a free society. Thumbs up from my vantage point.

Although their statistics invariably did not nor could not find causality between the two, the correlation looks pretty dog gone strong. Great article if all the numbers are true! Very nice indeed. I think we've been programmed into thinking that human nature is all total evil unless there's some big brother out there keeping us in line.

If all available, known-about dreams are utilized for the daily runs then my simple mind doesn't get how this run or set of runs brought new dream words.

If you look at today's run http://nationaldreamcenter.com/forum18/showthread.php?tid=525 as in any other daily run, the Bot program is set to seek out the top 30 or so words that have had a surge since the day before. That's the part that Chris highlights in yellow. The word with the biggest surge is at the top. Next, in the left column, is the all time highest % in the peak of the word. So, the daily run is based on word surges and essentially operates in real time from day to day. That's why Chris often mentions that headlines are nearly impossible to produce based on one daily run. It's the accumulation of repetitive words and how they are surging or falling back over a few days or even a week or sometimes longer that produce a better idea of what may be coming 'down the pike'.
What happened with the New Year run wasn't based on any type of surge. It was based on the number of times a word showed up during the 5 days from December 30 - January 3, 2015. It's a snapshot of what was going on in people's unconscious during that time period as a whole. Here again, headlines would be very difficult to come by based on that one run but if dreams are posted into the NDC Dreambase that match up with a phrase in the run and/or future daily Bot runs play into the set, there is a much better chance of being able to produce a headline for the future.
Chris can correct any glitches in my response....
Anyway, it's an experiment to fill the gap while we wait for Paradigm 3 to be re-launched....

In short, the New Year run was just like Project Año run: static snapshots since we had nothing to compare it to.
Daily runs look at movement by comparing each word's daily velocities.

I had been thinking all....of this time.....that what you just described for your experiment was what the bots were doing daily.....finding the top words in the most dreams....above 10,000 typical words in dreams, daily. I had thought that this was what the words were, then of course their own surges were shown! LOL....I don't just have to rethink this, but to keep thinking, remembering what such and such means....I guess till the cows come home next year.
Therefore.....Eagle1, don't throw tomatoes at me here, LOLL......seems that what y'all did for just the five? days should be done daily....and have three columns?? no, you're so dang smart as well as wise that were that necessary to your Grand Experiment, you'd be doing it.

Some may be wondering why headlines are eating up the New Year lingo so quickly. Well, when the run was done, the linguistics sat at the top of a bell curve and from there it is downhill all the way as the projections lose their forward looking. I've noted now that at the three week mark, they have picked up speed. There is also a chance that a few of the stronger lines may show up in headlines farther along in the year. Of course, this is all backward looking because there really is little what/where/when combinations or dream support.
This morning I happened upon a news article posted January 18 that began with, "Earlier this month we covered the revelation that Ted Turner, founder of the news channel CNN, ordered a sign-off video ready to air in case the apocalypse were nigh." I had to go back to the run to see what it said about 'Ted'. The words pretty much speak for themselves.
