Caught my attention too. The only Mercer I can think of is Rick Mercer who is a Canadian comedian but I don't think he would be that well known to be appearing in dreams around the world.

The word Mercer has been trending on 4/5, 4/6, 4/9, 4/10, 4/11 runs.  From a search it has never appeared before.

Seems like a pretty random thing for people to be dreaming about en masse.  (Makes me think of the school but maybe there are other meanings).  

Anyone else find this odd or have any idea what it could be?
