There is a connection between the sun, Earth's magnetics and CERN's magnetics being 100,000 times more powerful than Earth's normal field. Could CERN blow up Earth's magnetic field and leave us vulnerable to Coronal Mass Ejection(CME's) and coronal hole particles or even worse a kill shot?
