Oh, but of course. we have to demonize non-drug treatments. Wonder who the funding company was of this article.

Eagle1, bingo.
Sure, there's exceptions to everything because there's some folks that could have Creator touching them literally and they're so far gone inside that they are beyond the point of no return, sort of thing. BUT...demonize everything good, healing, kind, modest,and positive.

I read the article and it was woefully lacking in details of the study itself, like how it was set up, was there a control group, what their hypothesis was in the first place, etc. It appears they looked at prisoners who began meditating. Why not look at those monks who spend their lives in meditation? Might it be they had an idea, an opinion of meditating and the looked until they found "proof" to back up their opinion?

Is there a negative side to meditation? I doubt it.
