American Flag Dream
#1
Thursday July 2, 2015

I had a dream earlier that bugs me. In the dream, I was watching a Marine hand off a folded American flag to a woman whom had a little girl and they were standing on a high cliff overlooking the ocean. I thought the woman was about to turn and toss the flag into the sea and her little girl said something like she did not understand what all of the fuss was about it was only a piece of cloth and to hurry up. Undecided

My first thought was the death of America. And then later, it was shown a crow landing on a bald eagle's back. Crows are linked as omens of death and of course the USA's symbol is the bald eagle.

Pretty literal omen.

Taken literally, the bald eagle could go extinct. I don't like the other metaphor..... Eagle1 goes extinct. Finally, realize that the big whammy is your interpretation because it overlaps with some big linguistics from 6/24....about a week ago. http://nationaldreamcenter.com/forum18/T...nment-Ends

When dreams overlap the lingo, look out!

Oh man! That bot run was creepy. The dream I had had that feelings that the flag [America] just did not matter to people any more. It has left me feeling uncomfortable and especially two days before the birthday of America. But that bot run seemed to focus on some sort of attack around this time. And the government is warning people a lot more than they usually do.

Batten down the hatches and let's hope nothing bad happens. Even though I am reminded of another dream I had about a nuclear bomb on the ground in DC going off. I hope I am so wrong!

I hope you're wrong too! Smile But I do appreciate the dreams!

On the point of a nuclear bomb, lots of radiation detectors are being placed in big cities as we speak. Even in churches.

After the deaths of the Marines in Tenn, I thought about this dream. I wonder if this is what it meant? Maybe the part where the woman was going to toss it over a cliff signifies that these men will have died in vain?

Anyone else have thoughts about it?

Ooh yes. The metaphors could be relevant to the latest shootings. I wonder if the funeral will be next to the ocean. If nothing else, there will be at least one literal aspect of the dream that comes true: a marine will have a folded flag, and will be handing it to a widow or mother.

A new victim has died in the attack. He was a young navy man and leaves behind 3 young girls.
Here is a link to more about him , published before he died but after he was shot. Maybe the ocean signified the Navy.

with the media going after the confederate flag the next step is they will be banning the American flag.
Its the next step. Its the divide and conquer strategy of the elites is to turn the north and south against each other.

I think it symbolizes the death of the American flag, not necessarily the death of the USA. but the death of the US is the step after the American flag.

Thank you all for your replies and with that sailor passing, it could very well be symbolic of that too. And I also agree about the flag, with people calling for the removal of the flag it may mean it will be removed and a new flag put in its place.

Windy, that is an interesting way of looking at the child. To me, she was disrespectful and I thought of the young people today and how they don't really care about history and such. But you put it into a new light and thank you. Smile

Lots of symbolism in that. And I still feel eerie feelings about that crow landing on the eagle's back later that day.
