This morning, Paper Gold (GLD) sits at 105.42

I had no idea it was already sitting at it's 5 year low. Maybe that lingo is day residue! We shall see.

The first thing that popped into my head was 'Entertainment Tonight'. Taylor swift is big in the news again with 294 articles showing on Google over the last few days. Tiger Woods isn't showing so this run could be a heads up up about him. The big tiger news is 40 articles about there only being 100 tigers left in Bangladesh.

This run has a wild shift in focus from what was showing the last few days, like a pendulum swinging from left to right, or is it the other way around?

Would you believe?....

The top headline at Marketwatch just now: "The carnage isn’t over in gold, other metals-mining stocks"
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/the-car...2015-07-27

Interesting quote: "Breaking point for gold miners...Analysts said that gold prices are at or close to the level at which miners can’t make a profit."

Oh yeah, forgot. We have a new tag. This one isn't a full come true because gold hasn't yet plummeted. This article was basically predicting the exact same thing that bot predicted, except 9 hours after we did.

Therefore, #Tickle (the event hasn't actually happened yet, but a significant news article comes out to validate the prediction).

I like this addition. Can it be changed to #cametrue if it does come true?

Absolutely. Yes, the #Tickle will always be associated with that Marketwatch headline, and if and when gold plummets again, that will receive the full accolade.

I think we found our China story.

The world's most famous kung fu temple is fighting back amid a growing list of scandalous accusations against its controversial abbot.
http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/29/china/chin...index.html

Abbot Shi Yongxin is accused of being an embezzler and womanizer with illegitimate children -- something he denies
A self-identified Shaolin insider has posted a series of explosive allegations on Chinese social media.
The latest accusations against Shi Yongxin, however, have portrayed him as a corrupt monk at a time when Chinese President Xi Jinping has vowed to eradicate corruption, long a lightning rod for mass discontent in this country of 1.3 billion people.
With a stated goal of targeting both "tigers and flies" -- high- and low-ranking officials -- Xi's massive campaign has led to thousands of arrests and convictions on graft charges.
As a national legislator in China's rubber-stamp parliament, Shi Yongxin can be considered an official. And the accuser titled his original post "who is to inspect this big tiger, the abbot of Shaolin Monastery."

Ah yes. This accusation could force him to say, "Bye!"

Could also be an attempt to justify attempts to outlaw that particular sect of kung fu, in the same manner that the Chinese government mounted a campaign to discredit and then outlaw the Falun Gong.

Looks like a hit on the loss of Annie Lennox's daughter's boyfriend from their capsized kayak...
