A couple of readers expressed numbness, confusion, apathy, and others felt some dramatic angst. But not everyone was affected negatively. Yesterday, a staff member divulged some of her semi-confidential spiritual session that took place early in the morning of the 22nd, just hours after I conducted our very first linguistic analysis of what I’m now calling the Blood Moon Dreams.

Talk about synchronicity–when she read my analysis of the dreams, her mouth about dropped to the floor. You see, her devotional for April 22, 2014, had pointed her to Job 2: 28-31. Without a clue of what I was doing with the Blood Moon Dreams just hours prior, here are the words that were brought to her attention (I’m going to work backward here because that’s how it unfolded to us this week):

Job 2:31 says, “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great terrible day of the Lord come.”

Analysis: I personally verified that her devotional did, in fact, say April 22 for this verse. I find this an important point, because the authors of the devotional could easily have pasted that verse into April 15, when the moon was actually going to be red. But, alas, they did not, which tells me that the dates were perhaps ‘random’ and instead ended up remaining lock-step inline with the timing of the linguistic analysis.

What troubles me about this verse are the words “great terrible day.” For me, the blood moon day didn’t particularly feel all that terrible, but then again, this was only the first of four blood moons over the next two years.

What’s so terrible, though?

The word “terrible” is a very subjective adjective. Something terrible for one person may be great for the other. For example, for one Super Bowl quarterback, the game was terrible, which only means that for the other quarterback, it was a winner!

Let’s take another mathematically-guaranteed example: the economy. Since we have a debt-based system with leveraged interest, it’s mathematically impossible to sustain it to infinity. Those that have this knowledge also know that a system like this only becomes more and more tyrannical. So, if the “great terrible day of the Lord” equates to the day the economy breaks, well, I personally don’t see that as terrible. It might produce a lot of suffering, but at least the system will have to be modified from a debt-slavery system to something else. And when that day comes, my MBA might finally be used to begin a new economy (at least in the local area).

More importantly

What’s more is that Job 2:28 was also included in her devotional’s suggested reading:

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions”

Analysis: This paragraph sounds like our collective participants on this website! We have precognitive dreamers that not only dream the future, but can tell us what parts of the dream will come true. We also have other participants who tell me that yes, their dreams come true, but that their waking visions are much more accurate!

Has humanity always had this gift, or are we moving toward a more etheric reality. Paul Von Ward would be someone to argue against this notion, probably saying that humanity is more cyclic than evolving or devolving. Ancient texts do obviously mention dreams and visions, and we even have the earliest cases of dreamwork over 4,000 years ago with the ancient Greeks.

Nonetheless, dreams are making a comeback to the human family, after all these years under the radar. The Dark Ages effectively squashed any interest in dreams, making it a crime to acknowledge them. But today is a new renaissance of sorts with passionate dream work and even rigorous dream research (which I’ll hopefully get to cover in future installments of this blog).

The National Dream Center: More changes starting next week

Since this is Friday, I want to outline some immediate changes you’ll most likely see going into next week. The first big change is based off my mentor’s suggestion (the big brained George). I’m currently busy repatriating all the old posts from Tumblr back over to the home site, where I’ve just about got a rudimentary WordPress website up and running. It might look similar, but hopefully more self-explanatory than what you see here. (Important note: if everything goes well, I’ll have both sites up and running. The main blog will be at home base, but the feed will automatically update the Tumblr blog, too! Pretty nifty eh?)

There are some bells and whistles that will be missed (cool flyout social media wing-dings), but at least our comments section will be working. Call it an even trade. I needed to get this done before the big projects really get started, because Tumblr doesn’t have nearly enough power to do what we want on the follow on projects. Best to get setup now while our blog history is relatively low.

Oops, did I say big project? Well, yes, as if Project August wasn’t big enough…there’s yet another that is even bigger, but it’s a ways down the road (at least after Project August is over). And this is the other reason to bring the blog back to the main site: a new dream community will be going in to replace the current database. Our new ideas for the Dream Center have already outgrown the dilapidated database that we currently have. However, we’ll go ahead and get started with a couple of other projects now just to establish some roots…then transfer those over to the bigger community when we’re ready.

Cool additions next week

If you’ve made it this far, you’ll most likely be interested in a couple of changes that will most likely be installed next week.

If this idea doesn’t interest you, it’s probably because you didn’t dream about your true love / your soul mate prior to meeting them. This topic represents a HUGE portion of precognitive dreaming sector and it’s hardly ever talked about…dreaming about your future significant other! Many people can testify that they dreamed ahead of time about their future mate/spouse/lover/etc. So we’re inputting a new category called DreamMate™. It will have two sub-categories that are fairly straight forward. The first will be completed DreamMate™ dreams (i.e. you dreamed about your significant other and then met them later…that dream came true). The other sub-category is for the uncompleted DreamMate™ dreams (those that feel blissfully strong…an inner knowing that you’ll one day meet this charming dream character.

Synchronicities to substantiate the new DreamMate category.

Right in the midst of our incredible week, literally hours after the concept was pulled out of thin air, an anonymous reader provided us with her Blood Moon Dream (which is a double synchronicity: First it substantiated our need for the category, but the dream itself was dreamed on or close to the Blood Moon!). Here it is again, in case you missed it, but as you read, notice how significant the emotions and feelings just pop right out… this is the perfect first DreamMate™ dream….just perfect!

The “Time Traveling Car”(by anonymous)

My dream happened about a week ago, around the time of the eclipse, which I observed here in cental California. I was happily at college in my dream getting ready to take final exams and graduate. The newbies were scheduled to arrive and the old dorm where I lived had to be vacated. The dorm was not at all like the dorm I actually had at college; it was a wood paneled place with high ceilings and ceramic mask like decorations, some missing, some broken. I said thanks, and that you really helped me to a good friend(an actual friend from high school, Jan) and said my farewells. I recognized one of the newbies as someone who I knew in my childhood, Barbara. She was actually older than me, but was now younger. She was very tiny and cute, surrounded by admiring guys. (as a side note, she has become significant in the last day as I sort through some family history) I realize that I would love to stay here and study for my degree again, but of course, I can’t. I load up my car to leave, but have forgotten my purse, run back in to get it and say one last goodbye to the dusty, timeworn dorm. As I go to my car a fellow student(totally anonymous, not someone I remember), a guy I know is standing there by my car. I say you can come with me if you want, but I understand if you don’t. It’s not like he’s a boyfriend, just an acquaintance, but it’s an intense moment in the dream. He says he’ll come and I’m delighted. We get in the car and he drives. It’s like we’re driving at night in a dust storm: I can’t see anything. I realize I left my iD behind, but I think, well, I can’t go back and it won’t work where I’m going anyway. We finally get to our destination in the morning, and pull into the empty gravel parking lot, and go inside. No one else is there. It is like the old dorm, but brand new. The walls are beautiful burnished wood and the ceramic masks are new and perfectly in place. We go into the large living area with big windows overlooking a natural scene. My companion sits down at the baby grand piano and begins to play. I say I love you to him and wander off to look at the masks in the hallways with the music floating around.

Please everyone have a safe and blissful weekend.
