As I go off to start compiling today\u2019s DreamForecast and predictive headlines, let me quietly introduce a couple new areas of the NDC. I believe the forum overall is now refined enough and appears to be very stable, so let\u2019s start checking it out\u2026<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t worry, this article is not meant to be your official introduction to the forums, but it will get you started. Feel free to work your way around the forums, and you may even register if you\u2019re ready.<\/p>\n
Keep in mind that the forum is not at all connected to the DreamBase. There was no way to bridge the two together, so you\u2019ll unfortunately have to maintain two sets of login info until we finalize the mega-platform that will house everything under one big roof.<\/p>\n
First, we plan to run the DreamBot daily from now on (or near-daily). It won\u2019t be an extensive run, but it will identify big, glaring dream themes. After each run, I will post the highest memes happening in dreamland, and those will get posted in this forum<\/a> (yesterday\u2019s hot memes are posted).<\/p>\n Dreamers will then take these memes and choose one or two for dream incubation. In other words, they will intend to dream about that topic just to see what comes up. Then, after the dream takes place, the dreamer first inputs their dream in the DreamBase (as normal), and then proceeds to the thread to post a reply. You can either just reply with a link to your dream, or copy\/paste the relevant info. Be sure to explain if you received any clarity on that meme.<\/p>\n We will outline all these procedures later, but everyone can at least get used to looking in that forum daily just to see what the latest dream memes are. I won\u2019t always necessarily post those memes on this blog page.<\/p>\n Keep monitoring your submitted dreams, and when they come true you can get credit for the precognition! When the dream comes true, you\u2019ll simply fill out this form<\/a> and press submit (you can find this form in the \u2018Dreams!\u2019 dropdown menu).<\/p>\n When that form is submitted, the staff will verify the information, and when validated, your dream will go in this forum, called Validated Dream Precognition<\/a>.<\/p>\n NativeAmericanDreamWeaver is already racking up quite a collection<\/a>!<\/p>\n All general discussions will go in this forum, called General Discussion Area<\/a>. Remember the old DreamScapes? Those got moved into this General Discussion Area, and most of them are in this forum<\/a>.<\/p>\n There\u2019s also an area for negative-type dream phenomenon and an area just for funny stuff. The old \u201cOpen Microphone\u201d got morphed into the category named simply, \u201cGeneral Questions.\u201d<\/p>\n There\u2019s another mysterious discussion forum towards the bottom of the display called Paradigm 3. This is where the magic will happen, but I\u2019m not ready to introduce it just yet.<\/p>\n That\u2019s it for now.
