The National Dream Center has been conducting DreamForecasts all throughout the summer, but we have not issued any possible headlines like we did for Project August for several reasons that are beyond the scope of this article.<\/p>\n
However, once we reached a significant threshold on successful Project August headlines, we knew the technology was strong enough to carry it over to non-Project August forecasts. There were many obstacles that made us timid about this transition, so we met this monumental task with plenty of caution.<\/p>\n
However, the results are nothing short of eye-watering here. The first headline received a virtually verbatim headline from the weather forecasters (5 days after our DreamForecast was issued) and several instances of verbatim quotes from the second headline.<\/p>\n
Now, to be fair, when I looked today for possible high-wave weather forecast that preceded our DreamForecast, I did find one issued the day prior to our DreamForecast, although this was not on our radar when making our possible headline. Therefore, our excitement dampened tremendously since a skeptic would simply accuse us of fraud.<\/p>\n
Nonetheless, we are quite happy with the results here, even though we cannot prove that we were the first ones to publish these headlines. Lesson learned: when working up weather forecasts, we\u2019ll have to be much quicker and more efficient in our publishing process. Also realize that the dreams we were working with all predated the weather forecast, so give a standing ovation to the collective unconscious.<\/p>\n
We had two main headlines from last week. Before the first headline, I wrote\u2026<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I think the storms are the bigger concern here. They might present issues for the Great Lakes area, especially Chicago<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cPossible Headline: Major cold front brings high waves, high winds, and low temps to the Great Lakes and Midwest.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n This near-verbatim warning was issued July 28th<\/sup> for the exact same city mentioned, Chicago:<\/p>\n Meteorologists Warn Of High Waves On Lake Michigan<\/a><\/p>\n July 28, 2014 11:34 AM<\/em><\/p>\n CHICAGO (CBS) \u2013 High waves on Lake Michigan have prompted a warning for boaters and swimmers, due to potentially deadly currents on the water.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Then, after forecasting the weather with that first headline, I also said this\u2026<\/p>\n \u201cIf <\/em>[the previous headline] is right, then it does not bode will for the HOT theme in the DreamForecast. Since that was an obviously significant trend, what else can HOT signify\u2026but conflict.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cPossible Headline: Conflict escalates (i.e., a general escalation of trouble on the Mexico border, Gaza, Ukraine, Iraq, etc. Could be a tough week as far as body counts go)\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n DreamSeer Score: 5.0+<\/p>\n Comments<\/strong>: Skeptics would say that anyone could make this prediction in any week of any year and get a high score. I would disagree.<\/p>\n Just last week there was a cease fire in Gaza as opposed to an increase in fighting. This week was a completely different story. Does Russia increase deployment every week? Do we see statements like this every week: \u201cMeanwhile in Gaza, body count grows beyond comprehension<\/em>\u201d?<\/p>\n The reason for the 5.0 score was that the \u201cgeneral escalation\u201d and \u201cbody counts\u201d that the DreamBot predicted was a unanimous hit on ALL fronts, but that wasn\u2019t all. The BIG hit was between the two biggest foes of all: US and Russia. The death toll in the Ukraine was probably accidental, in so much as whoever shot the plane down thought it to be of the military variety.
