I'm inclined to answer your questions with "yes" to both. While I tend not to use the term "evil", I also agree with your last statement. Those who are lost in their egos and desires tend to think only of their own desires, which makes them easily manipulated by those who know how to do so.

) seems to fit the corporate mindset. They're not in it for any great or grand reason, they're in it for the money and the power that money provides them.Enbridge is the company building the pipeline. I read another story about Enbridge strong-arming a farmer here in the US and the NA peoples stepping up to back the farmer. Let me find the article, if I can.

Googled for the story and came upon quite a few stories about this Enbridge bunch. They are a "get it done no matter who you ruin and grind into the dust" company, with many state governments colluding with them. Man. I would not want the karma that's being accrued by their actions and those who collude with them.
