Suddenly Everyone's Gone

I was at some kind of pool party. Brick building, olympic sized pool, kids, adults, booze, music. It was another bright night but morning was coming and everyone got up and went inside. I went in too and peeked outside a few
minutes later. The sky seemed... not right. Light was too harsh and looked like a thunderstorm was threatening, except it wasn't. Everyone suddenly vanished and the radio died. Seemed like the power was shut off. I drank the rest of the beer and ate an entire cake and passed out. Woke up with a headache.
