Don't shudder, I'm just posing some questions.
What if CERN happens to be the very organization who was directly charged with removing the veil on humanity. I certainly don't advocate deifying anyone based on such superficial observations, but I also think that demonizing for the same reason is not advantageous either. From my perspective, they don't seem to be the completely renegade organization we are led to believe.
The bottom line is that we don't have any idea what the underlying motives are for these "wild and crazy" experiments. I bet the world wide web application looked widly crazy back in the 70's, but is completely normal now.
