I have a question about the time between dreaming and being fully awake.

3 times in the past 3 months or so (I don’t keep a log) something happened just before I was fully awake. I was thinking “I wonder what time it is” and I turned my head toward my bedside table and looked at my cell phone. I have a flip type cell phone that you have physically open to see the screen. When I looked at the phone I could see the screen inside the phone & I could see the time. The phone itself looked cloudy, like it was not a physical object and yet I could still see the numbers of the time. When I turned on my bedside light and opened the phone it was the same time that I had seen through the phone without my having to open it.

I would appreciate it if someone would know if there is a name for this?

I call this "Indian Time" I don't know what else to call it. In waking life, I don't pay attention to clocks because I don't need to, I will get to things, when I get to them. (for the most part)

This is the same when I am sleeping, I don't have a set schedule, I sleep when I am tired and I wake up when I have had enough sleep. Except when I have an appointment, I always seem to wake up about 20 minutes before I wanted to get up. I tend to dream of seeing a clock and checking the time, and it is exactly that time when i get out of bed and check the clock.

Also when I am focused on remembering my dreams, a lot of time I will dream of writing down my dream when I am in that space between dreaming and being awake, just to find out when i do wake up that i didn't write anything down.

This also happens when I am sleeping and have to use the bathroom. I will dream about going to the bathroom, and when i was younger I would pee the bed for this reason. Now i know in my dreams to always pinch my thigh before I pee! If I am awake I will feel it, if i am asleep i wont so i know if am dreaming and have to wake myself up, so I don't pee the bed.

There has been a few times i have been awake but i will still pinch myself before going pee just to make sure i am awake. LMAO!!!!
