Fireworks and asteroids

I saw the dark side of Earth from space. Fireworks were going off in a few cities, and I could see them as small points of light. Some points were larger. The largest ones got my attention. Meanwhile, a swarm of asteroids were skimming the Earth, like trails through a cloud chamber. I could see their smoke trails darting through the atmosphere by the dozens. Some may have impacted, which connected with the the firework points of light somehow. I saw three primary points of light: Chicago, some place in central/western Europe like Paris, and another spot near the west coast of India. That's all there was to the dream.
