A Tack

This dream was rather straight forward. In the dream I pictured was a push-pin, rust colored as seen standing on it's pin tip above it were the words (written very clearly) "Simple, most elegant, most effective". The push pin registered in my mind as a tack. I'm not sure it if it were to be taken as a double meaning but my feeling is simply as a "tack" or pushpin, like those you would find in a cork-board message board.
