Mass casualty in a foster home?

In my dream last night, I was living down the road from an all-girls foster home. I don't know the place, nor date, but the environment had a desert feel. I remember going for a walk down a dirt road, when one of my neighbors asked me if I had heard the news. I told him I hadn't, and they proceeded to tell me that one of the buildings that the girls slept in had caught fire in the middle of the night, and 390 of the girls had died. Shortly after that, I was living in what appeared to be a seaside/cliffside, VERY small town. There was a small earthquake, the people around me were saying it was only a 2.2mag, but it was significant enough to damage nearly all of the buildings in this small town. The townspeople all came together after the quake to repair all of the homes.
