I am in an old log lake cabin in a small resort on hilly treed land. It is wet outside like it had just rained. By the brown colours, it looks and feels like early to late fall just as the leaves have started coming off the trees. I am much younger and want to go out partying with some friends but I need money. I have no cash on me and can't find my credit card. The young blond man beside me dressed in brown says he hasn't got it. He helps me look for it. I spend so much time going through my purse and wallet over and over again that my friends leave without me.
It is morning. I am standing in the doorway of the cabin. There is a red car with a white roof from the late 50's, early 60's parked outside on the road. There are three kissing couples in it. One couple gets out and walks up the hill on a road away from the cabin. The driver, who looks a lot like someone I know, rolls down the window and says, "See you next Fall maybe," and drives away.
