In my dream, we were in a high elevation that had never experienced flooding before. There had been reports that flooding in the area was possible, but no one believed it.
At the crest of a hill, there were ancient stone statues. In the blink of an eye, a giant wave crashed against the hill and washed away the statues. Everyone was wailing in fear and disbelief at the loss of these statues because they were considered extremely culturally significant.
The date "April 1" was mentioned in the dream. But whether it was the date of the flooding event, or had some connection with the statues themselves (a monument to events that happened on April 1?) was unclear.
