Frozen Pond

A horse in a pasture walks up to his pond but there is a layer of ice on top. He has never seen this before and doesn't understand. He tries to walk across the pond but the ice breaks under his weight and he falls into the icy water. He is kicking and kicking trying to get out but he can't. Some people see him and begin trying to help. One man ties a rope around his waist and the other end to a tree and goes to the pond. He has a special curved, stiff rope to slide around the horse's body. Then the people manage to pull the horse out of the pond. He is laying on the ground in shock and people are putting wool blankets on him to warm him up.
