I was in a house with my mom. She was angry at the owners (who appeared to be aimlessly wandering around outside) for continuing to put money into it, for what would be little return, in her opinion. I was confused because it was the most beautiful, craftsman-style house I had ever been in. The woodwork was rich and there were built-ins and cubbies all over the place. It was actually hard to focus on, there was so much. I kept thinking that the owners, however clueless they seemed, were right - the house was a hidden gem.
