Riding with the dead

I dreamed I was in the back seat of a sedan car and my stepdad was driving. (But in real life he died about 7 months ago.) We were driving through a mountainous landscape and there were no people or towns anywhere.

When I awoke from this dream I had a creepy feeling like - what if in this dream he is driving me to the place where the dead dwell and it means I am going to die sometime soon?

Or you could be having the same dream as a number of folks here have been having. Few people, there's been some kind of disaster, and in order to survive folks have moved to the mountains.

Deceased family in dreams, in my experience, are trying to show us something important that they need us to know. More of a caring gesture. IMHO.

Thank you that is an interesting perspective. I guess you would have to know when to go to the mountains in order for a dream like this to be helpful. And maybe how high you would need to be... ; )

Oh and I forgot to mention I had this same dream twice in the same night. The mountains where we were driving were not sharply peaked and it was not hot like Summer nor cold like Winter- there was no snow on the mountains.

I've been preoccupied with earthly life issues so sorry for the late response. As for the timing of when we will head to the mountains, I wish it would be soon, like tomorrow soon. It is so dang hot here in the south that I would love to be in the mountains anywhere. From what I have been shown, we will be traveling in groups to mountains. OMG I just got big Spirit chills and a welling up of emotion when I typed that line. OK, I'll take a deep breath and concentrate here. Yes, we will be going in groups and not necessarily family groups. For instance I may not know they people I am with on a physical level, yet we all know each other Spiritually. I have been noticing for the past few months an increase in negativity in the world on all levels of our human existence. We all need to keep a watch on the dreams that are being posted here. Jeez, now I am thinking in my Spirit language. Ok, I'm going to end this before I speak out loud and I don't think the people in the library will understand. hahahahaha

Julie; I haven't picked up on mountains but the whole traveling with a family that's not family and all the rest? Exactly what I've been getting. The rising of negativity everywhere is reaching a fever pitch.
