Forced abandonment

Disturbing dream a couple of days ago. In the dream my daughter is about 4 or 5 (she is 3 now) and we are picked up by a couple of guys that somehow I know. They pick us up because they have found the "one who was dead" and we need to see him. As we start driving we get to an intersection of a gravel road with an old service station or gas station long abandoned. At this point the other two tell my daughter we need to stop and let her out. She gets out and stands waiting for me. When she exits the men tell he to wait here and they speed away with me still in the car. I try to get them to stop and let me out but they will not. I turn to around to see her standing with her backpack kicking rocks on the road. At this point I begin to get angry and about to take control of the dream… I wake.
