depressed brown sneaker on a plane

weird. brief, pointed statement.
all I saw was a brown (tennis shoe/sneaker) force itself down on TOP of an airplane depressing the fuselage. The flight was headed into UCLA. There was an important guest speaker on board intending to give weekend speech/lecture there.
I felt the color of the shoe could be a metaphor perhaps for color of skin or a name like( Gov Brown)
