I was looking up a word to gain perspective on its intention and interpretation. The word is power.

go figure that the number 2 figures into a definition of power.

Just as history has been 'edited' and changed to guide the public opinion, so too can dictionaries. Ah the 'power' of language upon the Mind. I see how online dictionaries can lead in to definitions with their own emphasis on a definition.
