There is no prior context and no post context for this dream. It appeared like a dangling snapshot. There was a document laying on a nondescript flat surface. The paper appeared to be made of some fibrous material, more coarse than regular paper but not papyrus or the like. I was reminded of special gift paper that has custom color and texture, with inlaid motifs of leaves or petals. This document, however, was plain and was slightly off-white.
There was no material "me" in the dream, but my perspective hung above the single paged document. I was struck with the intention to read the page. I noticed that the script, which I had originally assumed to be formed of the english alphabet, was written in a runic alphabet. I seemed to understand the writing, but cannot remember what was written.
After a moment, the letters began to float upwards off of the paper. There was a slight shimmer as this happened. The letters retained their linear relationships for another moment and then began to spiral counter clockwise. Rectangular formation was lost in favor of what initially looked like a series of nested concentric circles. Upon looking more closely, I could see that the shape was one of undulating spiral. There were no separations between rings. They all seemed to join in reaching toward a center horizonal point. It was in this position that they hung and continued to undulate.
In thinking about this after, it seems to me that there was some implication of seeking inclusive truth that may be approached but perhaps not completely found.
