10/24/14 China's Natural World
#1
Based on our lessons from Canada, I’m playing around with finding peaks in certain words. Obviously, there are degrees of peaks and varying heights, but I’m looking for certain ones that resemble the peaks we saw in the Canada shooting. For this run, the yellow highlighted words are those that seem to be the closest in characteristics. The other thing we’ll be starting to track are the TYPES of words that are peaking and how early they peak prior to the news. For example, we have names that seem to peak the highest and earliest, while simple descriptors seem to peak later and lower.

Other than the peaks in yellow, I also annotated an interesting smattering of words that seem to point to the natural world in China. Panda, Nature, Rare, Tigers, Cage, Garden, etc. Not sure if this is predictive, especially since we have no big hitters here (above 2,500%). In addition, there don’t seem to be many phrases that pop out, at least to me. If anyone sees groups of 3-4 (or more) words that seem meaningful or that overlap with recent dreams, then do speak up!
