Prediction using "intent to dream" for June/2015
#1
Question
I am not sure if I am in the right forum for this type of dream experience.  I have read about a study done by the dream center that had people concentrate on a one month period in the future and record their dreams.  I have decided to do this myself but the month I am using is June/2015.  I started last night and will document my dreams I have up until that month begins.  Should I post my dreams daily on here??  Do I just keep a record and send them to someone?  I am not sure how to go about this.

I heard about this from the Beyond Reality Radio show.  Can anyone steer me in the right direction?   Huh

Thanks

Hi Donna!
Welcome to the National Dream Center. Thanks for also letting us know how you found out about us. You are asking some great questions about how to proceed with documenting your dreams of intention. I will try to answer your questions as best as I can, though others may also have some additional suggestions.
I assume you wish to make an intention to dream about June 2016, not 2015. Big Grin When you post your dream, go ahead and post it under the "Public Dreams" forum, assuming you don't mind that the dreams are made public. Try to write the date of your dream and a title you think would fit your dream in the heading. This will help you locate your dreams later on. We have dreamers who purposely dream with an intention for their own curiosity from time to time so you will not be the only one doing so. After a few dreams, you might notice a pattern or some common themes presenting themselves with your dreams. If you want to post what you notice, feel free to do so. You can also ask if anyone has any thoughts or also notices anything of interest. Sometimes a theme will jump out at you and sometimes it is more subtle.
You can also post dreams you have which were not made with an intention before going to sleep, just note them as being a normal dream so it doesn't confuse you.
I hope that helps answer some of your questions. Let us know if that helps.
Thanks for joining us!

We are a friendly group and look forward having you here with us at the NDC.

Thank you so much for the reply and information!  You are very kind.  Yes, I did mean 2016.  Still trying to catch up to the new year and the time change.   Big Grin  My first dream was last night and had nothing to do with anything I know about.  It was a surprise.  I will post it where you suggested and then there will be a record of what my brain does at night.    Thanks again for the positive response and making me feel comfortable.  Have a good one!

Hi Donna, and welcome! In addition to what Twice detailed above (very clear Twice, nice job!), Eagle1 has periodically run special projects. What you heard on the interview were details regarding Project August, and there was also Project Uno (for a single day) and Project September. For those Projects, he will create a special forum where everyone can make the intention, post, and it's all kept private until the month or day is over. Then he will do an analysis afterwards on how many themes, trends, headlines, etc. have come true.

There aren't any Projects running currently, but don't let that hold you back from making your own intentions and posting as suggested by Twice.

There are also other areas of the website for posting Exceptional Human Experiences (such as a near death experience, etc.), relevant news stories, and also an area where you can submit a Private dream. We are looking for all sorts of experience here - dreamers, precognitive dreamers, bot run interpreters, etc. We're so glad that you listened to the interview and came to check out the website!

Wow great people on this thread!!  Thank you so much for the info.  I posted my first dream just now on the suggested thread and will continue to post dreams as they happen.  Thank you all so much! Shy

I got nothing to add(bad grammar intentional Big Grin )...

One suggestion, though: If you don't keep a personal dream journal, you might want to start. Then, as time goes by, you'll see patterns and themes developing in your dreamtime and you'll learn what constitutes your personal dreamscape, i.e. what certain items or things represent. This doesn't necessarily correspond with any dream dictionaries' meanings. It's your very own metaphorical landscape. You'll also get a feel for the dream itself. Is it just your subconscious blowing off steam? Is there a message being given to you? Are you working something out during dreamtime?

Gee. For someone with nothing to add, I added quite a bit. Big Grin

Welcome to the Forum Donnawillick. All dreams are welcome here because they all contribute to the Bot Run. You are welcome to ask any questions here and someone will answer. Like what was previously said, there are many ways to contribute to the forum. I am a dreamer, so I only contribute dreams that I feel need to be posted. The bot run makes me dizzy so I steer clear of it unless I have a strong feeling to comment. For others, the bot run is their area of expertise.

Feel free to jump in anytime. Big Grin

Well said Julie! I like to look at all of it, and sometimes the Bot makes sense, and other times not so much. But I enjoy reading what other members put together. Makes me think harder about the next Bot run!

I appreciate any input you may have.  I did learn from listening to Beyond Reality Radio that dreams don't always mean something specific.  There is no one way to interpret what we dream.  It could be signs or symptoms of a situation or residual day time occurences, etc.  I am curious though and will continue to document my dreams about June/2016 for the next month and see if there is a pattern, premonition, or just a wild imagination.  Maybe I just get bored during the day and entertain myself at night in my mind.  It is an experiment for me and I would like to see if I learn anything from it.

Thanks for the help!
