medical escort (3/14/2016)
#1
I am new to this group.  I heard about it from Beyond Reality Radio show.  I was interested in the project discussed about people choosing the month of August with the intent to dream about that month.  I would like to try this experiment myself but will be concentrating on June/2016.

My dream started with me in a medical helicopter with 4 paramedics,  my husband was flying the chopper.  We were apparently on our way to pick up a mother in labor so that we could get her to a hospital.  We were apparently in a very remote northern location.  It was partly snowing and very windy.  The helicopter was nothing fancy.  Mostly like an empty van with seats on the perimeter of the cabin.  We landed once and picked up a RN to help with the transfer and took off again.  We travelled for some time and the weather deteriorated to the point where we could not fly any longer.  We landed and were waiting for another chopper that was bringing the pregnant mom to meet us.  She did arrive but her copter was much smaller and very bright green.  We were grounded and waiting for a land transfer vehicle to get this mom to a hospital.  The dream ended at that point.

Welcome to the NDC! Always glad to have more dreamers!

Thanks for posting your dream!

A question: Does your husband fly helicopters in his day job?

Hi Donna, does your husband fly helicopters or work in the EMT field or did that strike you as unusual? Unless it was an unusual weather season, the snow in June narrows things down a bit. What did you think about the dream, and how did you feel during it? Calm, panicked, in control?

Hi!  Great to hear from you!  No my husband does not fly helicopters.  Neither one of us have ever been in one.  He is a retired paramedic and I am a retired Registered Nurse.

During the dream I was chatting to the other people on board.  Even though I did not recognize any of them in my dream I knew them well and we were joking and teasing each other.  I felt quite comfortable with them.  I felt calm but very confused about the actual dream.  I thought it was quite strange for me.  I do live in Canada so at times in the north it is not unusual to snow in June.

Thanks for joining us, donnawillick! Its definitely interesting and potentially confusing when trying out the intentional precognition exercises. I applaud your efforts here, and I can't help but notice that the very first Project August dream included an empty van (something you metaphorically included in your dream :Smile )

I think the biggest reason for the success in Project August was that the multiple dreamers in the dream pool allowed us to be able to triangulate hints of the future. In other words, we were able to look for trends, which were then converted into predictions. In fact, one of the important results of the study was that in general, the more the dreamers dreamt about a speciific event or symbol, the higher the probability that the dream event or symbol would come true in real life.

We also did Project Uno, where individual dreamers were doing exactly what you did here. Although the # of volunteers in this project were minimal (only 6 dreamers), we did have a whopping 100% manifestation rate with the timing remaining within 2 weeks of the static date (August 1, 2014).

So I'm just including this information to give you some context about your own exploration here. You seem to be off to a bang, and I hope you enjoy your experience! Let us know if you have any questions. Smile

Thank you so much for the info and encouragement.  I am not sure if I will ever be able to predict anything from my dreams but I do wonder why I have some of the bizarre dreams that I do have sometimes.  They don't seem to be associated with anything I am aware of.  I find the dreams seem to happen right before I wake up in the morning.

Would I be notified if there is another study that I may become a part of?

Right now I am doing this for my own curiosity but wouldn't mind seeing how my dreams might correlate to someone else's dreams.

Thanks again!!   Smile

Hi to all!  This is my second dream in my self study.  I found this dream very disturbing and did not enjoy it at all.

I was asked by my daughter to do a favor for a friend.  She was not very forthcoming with details but all I needed to do was drive a vehicle that belonged to someone else and take it to a specific site.  There was cargo in the vehicle but I was not supposed to know what it was.  I immediately thought it must be illegal but didn't know what it could be.  I was hesitant but agreed to go and look at the vehicle.  It was a small truck, very old and in disrepair.  I was told that I would never be suspected of driving this vehicle and that I was perfect for the job.  When I opened the truck door and it fell off into the street.  I remember thinking how could I possibly not be noticed when the door falls off?  I finally got brave enough when I was alone with the truck and checked what was in the back.  I found cases of baby formula, hospital blankets and other miscellaneous hospital supplies.  Nothing of any great value.  Now I felt very confused and angry with my daughter daughter for getting me involved in something that may be illegal.  I woke up feeling angry and used.  Not one of of my most favorite dreams ever.

Hopefully tonight's dream is better.
