"Naked" sounds like it has fantastic lyrics. It reminds me of a first day back one year of high school and the progressive teacher asked us to spend the hour writing what we would like to be doing if we could be ANYwhere that moment with ANYone doing ANYthing we wished. I wrote "naked" without thinking of that as the title and I think blew him away. He had told us not to put our name on it but you just know he kept them all so he could compare the writing later and know us better.

Glad we're sharing about these things. I'm soon to hear music from a cool chick that I've never heard before.

Don't know if they're still around or not but they are one of the best live bands I've ever seen. But I'm pretty open music-wise to what moves me. Never liked to be pigeonholed into a music category or fan group. But when I love it, I LOVE IT! And I can be quiet when I first meet someone, but singing in the car?! Don't care who sees me belting it out. Yeah, I'm one of "those people"! Can't say my voice is any good, but the energy I build up and let out is physically and psychically incredible. I would recommend it to anyone. Try it!

Heck yeah I sing sometimes and occasionally I can't help but belt it out. Hubby brought me the phone a few months ago with a daughter calling for me. But he stood in the hallway where I couldn't see him and they both listened to me sing a song with gusto. Nah, I didn't care. I was "in my groove."

It's great to be carefree. I don't think I've arrived where I've sang heartily while at a traffic light with folks around me. Not saying I won't make it to that point. I want my inner-child to flourish but am slow at this sometimes.

Also agreed that no genre in music will ever own me, except "in the moment."
