Dream: I'm in a unfamiliar city, at a hospital...waiting to see a specialist. I have arrived much to early for my appointment. So I decide to wonder outdoors while I wait. There is like a courtyard outdoors. Hills, trees, flowers, and grass. It is a beautiful sunny day. There are seniors sitting on benches and all types of younger folk enjoying the park like court yard. It is surrounded by large brick buildings, medical...there are men weed eating and such...grounds keepers. They are wearing black or dark navy blue nylon jackets with white or yellow lettering. I'm enjoying the sun and nature. Suddenly, someone screams, I turn and see one of the men has pulled a gun and just shot someone! I look around and see all the working men pull guns and start shooting. I'm running for cover and see Donna from that 70's show, being shot! I jump down a embankment, lay still, there are other people hiding there. I make the "shhh" motion at them. Suddenly, Meg Ryan jumps up, screaming and trys to run. Her face is splattered in blood and dirt? The panick look frozen into my mind. Next scene, its over...I'm helping a old boy to his feet. I ask if he's ok. He smiles at me and replys, "I was not afraid. I served in the armed forces."

Questioning that myself, especially as I don't remember celebrities showing up in my dreams before. Also I apologize for any and all mis-spellings in my posts.

Last night, heard a loud POP, followed by several more pops. Went out to where elder kid, the combat vet, was playing some sort of video game and asked if he heard that noise. He said yeah. I asked if those were gunshots. Without even taking his eyes off his game, he said, nah. I said well, he would know, and went back to my room.
Thinking about it, if the pops had been gunshots-which we have heard in this area-he might have stopped playing his game long enough to listen for direction and distance. If it wasn't nearby, he'd just go back to his game. He's laid back that way.

Maysea, your posts are awesome and you are a wonderful, new addition to NDC. Nobody gives diddly about typos or spelling since we all are doing our best. Until I read where you said this, I had not noticed even one thing in any of your posts of this nature. Seriously.
Thank you for being one of us here. Just had to share this. You, too are a blessing and I hope are enjoying this grand experiment.

Celebrities. On occasion they have posed up in dreams on this site, but not very often.
So, are any events taking place with celebrities in the near future? Award shows perhaps.
Are most of the recent dreams about celebrities famous for their work from before this century?
Most celebrities are Hollywood based or New York based, though not always. Are we being given a location perhaps because they are celebs?

Thankyou Nanny...feels like family here...home...I am "enjoying this grand experiment" It is my hope we dreamers can affect our world positively. I really am happy to be here. I do worry alittle if information could be used for nefarious purposes. I decided to be courageous though for the greater good. Our world is beautiful...peace to you all.

Ok, so I just stumbled across a active shooter...Date May 29th...Sunday...Memorial Day weekend...place, Houston, Texas...I looked at the story and found images that matched, I seen brick, the area around, quite beautiful, trees, grass, also the shooter looked the same, dark hair...he also was a vet...clear vet referance in my dream. Personally, the brick, area with grass and trees, and shooter looked like they stepped right out of my dream...made me feel sick.

I'm wondering about the "old boy", helping him to his feet...could it be a hint at "fallen veteran", Memorial Day weekend? Also the medical buildings in my dream, waiting and wandering out, maybe a hint at p.t.s.d? In my dream the man first pulled a handgun/pistol...but reports are of other type...does anyone know if he had used a pistol?

Houston police say the suspect in Sunday's deadly mass shooting in west Houston appeared to be suffering from depression and notes he left behind signaled he might have been dealing with mental problems.
Dionisio Garza, 25, drove into Houston from California on Saturday to visit friends in the area, police said. He later broke into a tire shop and spent the night there.
On Sunday, Garza came out of the shop and confronted people washing cars, police said. Eugene Linscomb, 56, was among them. Police say Garza shot Linscomb in the neck, killing him.

Just for the record...the brick buildings in my dream, I dont know they were medical...I assumed so...seeing as how I had left a building because I had arrived early to see a "specialist".

UCLA Campus includes court yards, and red brick buildings..... this happened in the Engineering department which would have had "specialists" just not medical specialists.

I have found personally that I will dream of people such as celebrities when i am dreaming of the Los Angeles area... When I dream of presidents or past presidents I have noticed the trend toward Washington DC. This should now be included for you as a marker going forward that the Celebrities can be a metaphor for a location. Interesting the way the mind turns pictures into information.

Also there was a coffee shop in my dream...I love coffee, does anyone know if there are indeed coffee shops there?
Please note...I dont have t.v. so I find it difficult to follow news...I thank everyone for attaching the stories as I haven't figured out how to do that yet...thankyou Windy...all the details you put up match...
