According to the article, the Futugawa fault zone stretches to close to Mt. Aso, which is an active volcano that erupted last September. https://www.rt.com/news/315227-japan-aso...vacuation/

Was it this article that stated 46, was it? volcanoes on the Ring of Fire are active right now?

Native Hawaiian friends of mine on Oahu shared that they expect Diamond Head to blow again someday. In our time there it never even had a reported micro-quake but we're living in uncharted times, so....

Southern CA. finally got something that's newsworthy. As always, hope it's not yet anything bigger coming, but amusing to see that anything over a 3.0, so it seems does make MSM.

6.2 magnitude in the central area of Italy yesterday. Lots of damage from the photos I saw on the news overnight.
