Well, I believe an autopsy was conducted, so likely not.

I just finished the Atlas Shrugged trilogy, and besides me puking at the constant change of casting members during each episode, I found the book to be much better. Nonetheless, my point here is ......Is there any chance that this thief staged his death and escaped to the breakaway civilization with John Galt?
