The chinese have basically done the same recently preventing all sales of retirement funds to protect their dropping markets too. I think the July Fireworks are really starting today with the stock market freeze, and the UA airlines glitch. Also apparently some economics websites were down too: Zerohedge, and people on the east coast couldn't view the Wall Street journal. makes you wonder what's going on. and then there was that executive order Obama just signed the other day about putting the States into a permanent state of Martial Law. I think the "show" may be about to get spectacular, hang on to your hats people and buckle up!!

Nonetheless, things are beginning to move faster than they were before. News-wise this week there's been some pretty big things happening - the EU, Greece, China's stock drop, the ongoing wars in the middle east and ukraine and elsewhere, countries beginning to drop like flies - puerto rico defaulting, the us stopping sales of silver eagles.

Locally, close to me one of our Shell gasoline refineries has "unexpectedly" shut-down and is now causing gasoline shortages around the province, and 3 of our provinces are on fire so much the smoke is covering everything and making it hard to fight the fires and breathe! We too are experiencing growing drought, making me think damn, it could be long term! So I'm building solar powered water condensers now, bypassing trying to get a well dug entirely. And I don't know about the rest of my province, but my area is overrun with grasshoppers making me worried about what few crops i have growing! things are getting interesting. The silver shop today only had 20 ounces in stock!! and they were only taking cash as payments...that worries me.
