The Black widow has always fascinated me, as to why God created such a beast. Still, have you ever seen a black widow? They are quite small, and yet, the males are even smaller than the females. One bite of a black widow can kill the largest and strongest human in minutes. And then to add insult to injury, for what purpose, for God to have created a creature who mates and then kills the one she mated with? How many other females in other species probably wish they could do the same! (Smile.)
I live in a 1800s NH farmhouse, infested with spiders, but no black widows, thankfully ... the NH climate is far too cold, even in the summer. And yet, surprisingly enough, this winter, the spiders have been nowhere to be seen. Last winter, they seemed to invade the inside of this farmhouse to no end, but this winter, the spiders seem to have buried themselves even further into the walls or underneath the structure. What do the spiders know that is coming, that we either don't know, or choose not to know?
I was bitten by a spider once, thankfully not poisonous. I was trying to be benevolent and gently pick it up from one of my walls and place it back outside. It bite me almost immediately, so I had to kill it. One less spider in this world; millions remain.
At least these are my thoughts, upon reading your dream, or the fact the image God chose for you to have in the dream, was one of a black widow. How very curious and interesting.
